Description

While the macroeconomics course focuses on larger picture (economy at the global and national levels), the discipline of microeconomics examines individuals, organizations, and industrial sectors that make up the larger economy. Topics such as demand and supply, industry structure and competition, and consumer consumption behavior will be discussed. In addition to taxation and transfer payments, international commerce and behavior of multinational firms in the global economy will also be explored. This course fulfills the Social Science General Education requirement.
