EN 101

This is a writing-intensive course designed to develop college writing skills and provide an introduction to basic research techniques. Student will be introduced to MLA and APA systems of documentation, and the proper way to incorporate outside sources into a paper. The elements of effective arguments will be explored, and emphasis will be placed on critical thinking both in classroom discussion and in the writing of clear, concise, unified, coherent papers about interesting topics for specific audiences.
